Angel is a professional dance teacher,  member of the World Dance Council (WDC), Bulgarian Professional Dance Association and an International Judge for Ballroom and Latin dancing.

He started dancing aged 9 years in Bulgaria and competed successfully internationally, being placed 9th and 13th respectively in the world in Latin and Ballroom dance.

He subsequently trained as a dance teacher at The National Sports Academy “Vasil Levski” Sofia and opened his first studio in Bulgaria in 1999. He has travelled and taught social dancing and prepared couples for competition in many countries including Greece, Cyprus, Lebanon Russia, Serbia Slovakia and USA.

He was awarded a medal from the Bulgarian Olympic Committee for being the first teacher in Bulgaria to develop and introduce a programme of Ladies Formation Dance as an Olympic Sport.

He is extremely excited to have beautiful new premises in North London to continue this work as well as “Teaching the Teachers” in his Masterclass Series for dance teacher exam preparation and general social and professional coaching.

He is available for dance consultations to discuss individual and/or group tuition and will be organising seminars, workshops and dance holidays/exchanges as these become possible with the other members of his team.

Angel speaks English, Russian, Greek, and Bulgarian fluently, is a wicked chess player, and enthusiastic cook.

Vladimir Semov

Specialises in:
American Smooth, Rhythm Latin and Ballroom Dance.

Vladi began his dance career aged 8 years old in Sofia, Bulgaria. He trained, competed and won many awards in International Style Latin and Ballroom Dance in Russia, Bulgaria and Greece as a child and young adult.

He has been teaching since 2003, training and working internationally as a Teacher and Studio Director in the famous Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire and Arthur Murray Dance Studios in the UK, USA, Europe and Lebanon. He continues to compete at Blackpool and Killick Championship, training with ballroom legends such as Richard and Anne Gleave.

Vladi is a skilled dancer and a very experienced teacher who works hard to inspire his students to achieve their goals and love dancing as much as he does.
